Control High Performance Industrial Heat Resistant Coatings are
produced in a series of different resin bases. Each series differs
in characteristics, such as maximum temperature capabilities, type
of cure, minimum curing temperature, etc. They form tough, durable,
heat resistant finishes, protecting all types of metal surfaces
from corrosion and weathering. Most products are also suitable for
use on stainless steel surfaces, as they are formulated with special
ingredients to minimize contamination from chlorides, other halides,
sulfides, nitrates, and metals which are known to induce external
stress corrosion cracking, and as they contain no free metallic
zinc, they will not contribute to embrittlement of stainless steel
welds.
